Jon Stevenson formed WESTVILLE in 1988 after working in technical sales with Pilkington Insulation for the previous 12 years. From the offset it was decided to major in the retrofit cavity wall insulation market using mineral fibre. We have never had cause to either regret or change that decision and little has changed.
Westville Insulation is still very much a family business employing 36 local people, now based in Shirebrook covering the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. You can still talk directly to Jon, Ian or Sean and our reputation for quality work performed to strict timelines and at competitive prices is still at the heart of all we do – be that for cavities, lofts or solid wall insulation.
Everyone is entitled to good advice about how to maximise energy savings with good insulation and most people qualify for a grant. We work with numerous utility companies and managing agents to ensure we can get you your grant of up to £900. We are also founder members of the NIA, as well as having close links with the Energy Savings Trust.
Our relationship with a number of manufacturers across all areas means we can find a solution for anyone’s insulation problems, with products which carry the correct guarantees and safety certificates.
We have also built strong relationships over the past 21 years with many of the local councils and building contractors and have therefore worked on numerous property types and schemes all aimed at helping people with their energy savings.
